Obituary of Fern Bolton

Bedford Fern Bolton, 94, of Bedford, died at 12:00 noon on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at the White River Lodge. Born September 10, 1914 in Martin Co., she was the daughter of Stanley and Lottie Spoonmore. She married Durward Bolton in 1938 and he preceded her in death in 1966. She was a homemaker and a member of the Donica Church of God. Survivors include one daughter-in-law, Judy Bolton of Bedford; two grandchildren, Brian Bolton and wife, Pamela of Mitchell, Julie Bolton of Bedford; two great grandchildren, Bryce and Brandon Bolton; a sister, Kay Wilson and a brother, Carl Spoonmore. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Keith Bolton; one sister, Nellie Clements; one brother, Paul Spoonmore. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Monday, August 10th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Brian Bolton and Rev. Kendall Hendrickson officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, August 9th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
