Obituary of Ilene M. Wood

Bedford Ilene M. Wood, 89, of 695 Wallner Quarry Road, Bedford, died at 1:10 pm on Friday, February 25, 2005 at the Bedford Regional Medical Center in Bedford. Born May 24, 1915 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Arthur and Pearl (Eagens) Quackenbush. She married Howard T. Wood on December 23, 1934 and he died in May of 1975. She was an employee of M. Fine & Sons, K-Mart and S.S. Kresges Store in Bedford. She was a member of the Hillcrest Christian Church in Bedford and the Order of the Eastern Star in Mitchell. Survivors include one daughter, Carol Stultz and her husband, Steve of Bedford; three grandchildren, Michael Stultz, Courtney Sullivan and Patrick Stultz all of Bedford; one great granddaughter, Emma Sullivan of Bedford and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers, Orin, Ariel, Carl and Doyle Quackenbush; two sisters, Cora Reuter and Beulah Walker. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 1st from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Gary Baker officiating.
