Betty, Melissa, (Angel & John): You (Angel & John) don't know me, but your Aunt Melissa certainly does and your grandmother probably remembers, too. I was your mom's friend as far back as high school, and I can still remember the first day we met, just as I recall the last time I saw and spoke with her in the grocery store not that many months ago. Your mom and I had some great growing up years together - sleepovers, making messes in the kitchen, acting silly. Your mom was the person with whom I could always say "remember when we . . . ?" and she'd remember, and laugh with me. Your mom had a heart as big as all outdoors, and was never without a smile to give, and could always find a reason to laugh, no matter what.
I hope these things are the qualities that you will remember most about your mother. One thing I do know is that she loved her family, and especially her children, above all else. Our paths crossed many times over the years, and no matter how topsy-turvy her life might be, her love for you all was the one constant. Try always to remember and keep that close to your hearts.

Betty & family, So sorry to hear of Tracy's passing. Please know you're all in my thoughts & prayers. Sure she probably was unaware of me being her 2nd cousin, but we share the same family from the Chesnut "tree".
