Obituary of Fern C Winegar

Mitchell-Fern Cosetta Winegar, 92, a long-time resident of Bedford died at 10:00am on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at Mitchell Manor in Mitchell. Born February 26, 1921 in Lawrence Co., to Lela Flynn, Fern was nicknamed Code by family and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Winegar, and surived by two daughters, Yvonne Foster of Bedford, IN and Burnettia Mulligan of Dayton, OH. ; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren. Fern loved to garden, was an avid photographer and won several awards with family photos, and crocheted blankets for all her children and grandchildren. Fern retired from RCA and was a member of Guide Point Church. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday August 17th with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm in Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary. Brother Chris Perry from Guide Point Church will officiate and burial at Pinhook Cemetery will follow.
