Obituary of Ruth L. Bolton

Bedford Ruth L. Bolton, 81, of 1561 Blue Springs Cavern Road, Bedford, died at 9:03 am on Sunday, December 26, 2004 at the Bloomington Hospital. Born November 1, 1923 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Charlie and Della (Edwards) Lynn. She married Emery H. Bolton on April 25, 1943 and he died February 10, 2001. She was retired from GM Powertrain in Bedford. She was a member of the Mitchell First Baptist Church and U.A.W. Local 440. Survivors include one son, Emery Buddy Bolton and his wife, Kathy of Mitchell; one daughter, Della Ann Jones and her husband, Marlen of Bedford; five granddaughters, Shandi Simons of Indianapolis, Tiffany Corbin of Bedford, Lyndi Bolton of Indianapolis, Kathy Haile of Winchester, KY and Karen Johnson of Mitchell; eight great grandchildren and one brother, Clovis Lynn of Bloomington. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister, Lorena Spinks and three brothers, Menlo, Ezra and Raymond Lynn. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, December 29th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Millard Jones and Joe Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, December 28th and from 1:00 pm until the hour of service on Wednesday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
