Obituary of Leila Wilson

Bedford Leila Ilene Wilson, 83, of Bedford, died at 8:00 am on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at Garden Villa in Bedford. Born April 24, 1926 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Quincy and Frances (Deckard) Watson. She married George E. Wilson on May 12, 1944 and he died July 24, 1995. She had worked at Westinghouse/RCA in Bloomington and was a member of the Valley Mission Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include two daughters, Janet Ritter and husband, Ron, Rebecca Barrett and husband, Edmond all of Bedford; two sons, Stephen Wilson and wife, Linda of Texas, Donald Wilson of Bedford; nine grandchildren, Cindy Hart, Christy Bowman, Chad Wilson, Trina Hanner, Stacy Robison, Tyler Wilson, Kristen Stewart, Derek Barrett and Gina Barrett; nineteen great grandchildren; one sister, Norma Jean Workman of Bloomington; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three sisters, Ruby Workman, Mary Hazel and Vernetta Chambers. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 7th at the Valley Mission Church of the Nazarene with Rev. J. Dean Pickett and Rev. Duane Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Hanson Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, November 6th at the Valley Mission Church of the Nazarene. There will be no calling hours at the mortuary.
