Obituary of Colleen Wilson

Bedford Colleen Wilson, 76, of Bedford, died at 5:20 pm on Friday, June 27, 2003 at Dunn Memorial Hospital. Born September 10, 1926 in Bedford, IN, she was the daughter of Samuel & Wyrtis (Hudson) Edington. She married James Virgil Wilson, Sr. on June 12, 1943. She was a homemaker. Surviving are two sons: Jamie and his wife Nancy (Sears) Wilson of Columbus, Ohio and Stan and his wife Sharon (Carter) Wilson of Bloomington, IN. Two sisters: Leona Dot Ferguson of Bloomfield, IN and Mary Turpin of Bedford. Six grandchildren: Amanda Schuster, Laura Ortiz, Renee Minarich Worthington, Sammy Wilson, Brandon Wilson and Haley Wilson, as well as, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers: Merle & Max Edington and one daughter, Beth Anne Wilson. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Monday, June 30th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Scott Salm officiating. Burial will follow at the Dishman Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Sunday, June 29th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
