Bedford, Emily Marie (Ketchem) Bailey, 70, formerly of 39 Mill Street in Bedford, died on Saturday, February 14, 2004, at the Westview Manor Nursing Home.

Born on December 8, 1933 in Martin County, IN, she was the daughter of Victor and Ava (Beasley) Gee and Iva Russell. She married Marvin Bailey on July 12, 1986 and he survives. She retired from NSWC.

Surviving with the husband, Marvin Bailey of Bedford, are three sons: William Joe Ketchem and his wife, Vicki, of Bloomfield, Richard Carl Ketchem and his wife, Jessica, of Lawrenceburg and Timothy Edward Ketchem and his wife, Tracy, of Cleveland, OH; one stepson, Douglas Bailey of California, two sisters, Anna Lou Easton of Bloomington and Rosalie Pike of Danville three brothers: Gerald Gilbert of Indianapolis, Jerry Chastain of Tennessee and Thomas Russell of Martinsville, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, first husband, William H. Ketchem, one grandchild, Michael Ketchem, three brothers: Charles, James and Gene Chastain. Funeral Information

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, February 17th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Brian Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery in Bloomfield. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday and from ll:00 am until the hour of service on Tuesday at Day & Carter Mortuary.
