Bedford (Ind.)Mary Frances Williamson, 95, of Bedford (Ind.), and formerly of Taylor Mill (Ky.), died at 8:20 a.m. Friday, July 27, 2012.
She was born on September 11, 1916 in Kenton County (Ky). She was preceded in death by her parents Harry W. Bird and Grace E. (Stephens); husband Edgar Williamson (married 1955); and son Jerry Baker.
For many year she was a beautician and in 1981 she retired from South Western Publishing Company (Cincinnati). She was a charter member of Lakeside Christian Church (Lakeside Park, Ky.) and currently attended First Christian Church (Bedford, Ind.). She was a member of Daughters of America - Kenton Council #9, Past State Counselor; Order of the Amaranth Past Royal Matron of Queen Ester Court #21; Order of the Eastern Star - Rosebud Chapter #39; Covington Shrine #10; and Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels.
Surviving is her daughter: Nancy (Donald) Mains (Bedford, Ind.); grandchildren Donald Mains Jr. (Brownsburg, Ind.), Melinda Mains (Indianapolis), Christopher (Kirsten) Mains (Avon, Ind.), Scott Baker (Cincinnati), and Troy (Cathy) Baker (Milford, Ohio); and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, July 30th in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with visitation 4 to 7 p.m., funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. the Rev. Robert Dailey. Graveside rites will be conducted on Tuesday July 31, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the Mausoleum Chapel at Forrest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger, Ky., with the Rev. John Russell officiating.
