Obituary of Clayton Arthur Williams

Bedford Clayton Arthur Williams, 47, of 432 Ravine Dr., Bedford, died at 2:55 pm on Tuesday, May 11, 2004 at his residence following a short illness. Born February 1, 1957 in Lawrence Co., IN he was the son of Robert Clay and Janet Sue (Bradford) Williams. He married Patti Mikels on March 16, 1996 and she survives. He retired from the U.S. Navy and was an engineering technician at NWSC Crane. He was a member of the Free Methodist Church in Bedford. Surviving with his wife, Patti, are one son, Mason Andrew Williams at home; one daughter, Edith Makenzie Williams also at home; his parents of Bedford; three sisters, Belinda Holt of Mitchell; Shayne Brown of New Albany and Teresa Scalf of Bedford; several nephews and great nieces. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Friday, May 14th at the Free Methodist Church in Bedford with Rev. Dave Colgan officiating. Burial will follow in Mundell Church Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 13th at the Day & Carter Mortuary and from 9:00 am until the hour of service on Friday at the Free Methodist Church. Military rites will be accorded at the graveside by members of Gillen Post #33 American Legion.
