Obituary of Loretta Whitney

Bedford-Loretta Whitney, 71, of Bedford died at 8:50 AM on Friday, September 30, 2011 at the Indiana University Health-University Hospital in Indianapolis. Born November 12, 1939 in Seymour, IN she was the daughter of George E. and Florence (Browning) Hanner. She was a member of the Bedford Baptist Temple, and the Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include one son: Kevin Chambers and his wife Leslie of Fayetteville; two daughters: Cathy Lindenschmidt and her husband Joe of Lynnville, IN, and Terri Pulliam and her husband Rick of Evansville, IN; one sister: Pat Limeberry of Bedford; one brother: George Yaney of Oklahoma; seven grandchildren: Christy Pulliam, Tina Walker, Jody Lindenschmidt, Veronica Hanson, Kenny Pulliam, David Lindenschmidt, Nickolas Hartshorne; and 13 great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son: Gerald W. Walker, Jr. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 4th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Lyman Taylor officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, October 3rd.
