Obituary of Russell Dean Hutton
Bedford-Russell Dean Hutton, 76, of 122 Riley Blvd., passed away at 8:45 P.M. Sunday, September 3rd at his residence.
Born on January 7, 1930 in Bedford, IN, he was the son of Herschel Hutton and Mary Nina (Isom) Oexman. He first married Wanda Maxine (Greer) Hutton on December 30, 1947 and she preceded him in death. He then married Janet Cummings Lawson on September 3, 1995 and she survives. He was a retired construction supervisor for Indiana Bell, a member of the Englewood Baptist Church; he was a Veteran serving in the United States Air Force, a member American Legion Gillen Post #33, the Telephone Pioneers and the Elks Club.
Surviving with his wife, Janet of Bedford is one son: Gary Hutton and his wife, Pat of Bedford; one step son: Luke Lawson and his wife, Stephanie of Bedford; one stepdaughter: Tammy Harrell and her husband Rocky, of Bedford; two grandsons: Darren Hutton and his wife, Dana of Bedford and Kevin Hutton and his wife, Elizabeth of McCordsville, IN; two granddaughters: Lindsay McCoy and her husband, Marshall of Lafayette and Abby Anderson of Indianapolis; four step grandchildren: Calvin Lawson, Scarlett Lawson, Greg Harrell and Thomas Harrell; five great grandchildren: Grace, Joseph, Kennedy, Keaton and Logan Russell. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife; one daughter: Vicky Neal and one brother: Herschel Hutton. Funeral Information
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:30 P.M. Thursday, September 7th from the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. David Ferry officiating. Burial will follow in Spice Valley Cemetery where members of the American Legion Gillen Post #33 will conduct Military Rites.
