Obituary of David L. Webster

Mitchell David L. Webster, 65, of Mitchell, died at 5:52 pm on Thursday, March 30, 2006 at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born June 10, 1940 in Martin Co., he was the son of James Denver and Berniece (Crane) Webster. He married Linda Burch and she survives. He was a fireman for the city of Columbus, IN from June 15, 1971 to June 15, 2000. He was the owner of Daves Glass. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving from 1959 to 1963.He was a member of the American Legion Post #250 in Mitchell, the Bedford Masonic Lodge #14 F & AM and the Dover Hill United Methodist Church. Surviving with his wife, Linda is one son, Dusty Webster of Columbus; one daughter, Jeanne Marie Webster of Columbus; one sister, Emilie Padgett and her husband, Arnold L. of Bloomington; one niece, Lori Ellen Griffith of Charlestown and one great niece, Kyleigh Peyton Griffith of Charlestown. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Monday, April 3rd from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Merla Craig officiating. A committal service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday at the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Odon, IN. Military rites will be accorded at the graveside. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, April 2nd at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
