Obituary of Wilma Jean Watson

Bloomington- Wilma Jean Watson, 89, of Bloomington died at 12:35pm on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at the IU Health Bloomington Hospital. Born October 1, 1925 in Brown County, IN she was the daughter of John W. and Bertha Mae (Griffin) Hyde. She married Howard Franklin Frank Watson and he preceded her in death. She had worked for Indiana University as a housekeeper in the Forrest Dorm. She attended the Guthrie Christian Church. Survivors include her daughter Nancy Scott of Clearwater, FL; five grandchildren: Timothy Scott Fields, Lora Kay Smith, Darren Howard Fields, Christopher Patrick Fields, and Amber Watson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Gary Frank Watson, and eight brothers and sisters. Funeral Information Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00pm on Tuesday, August 19th at the Hayes Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 1:30 pm on Tuesday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
