Obituary of Nora E. Wade

Bedford Nora E. Wade, 92, of Bedford, died at 12:47 pm on Monday, February 2, 2009 at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born October 17, 1916 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Joseph H. and Sally (Bossert) Roberts. She married Ollen C. Blake and he preceded her in death. She later married Jacob Pruett and he died in 1955. She then married Harold Wade and he died in 1996. She retired as a nurses aide. Survivors include a daughter, Sally Fletcher of Mitchell; a son, John Blake; a sister, Dorothy Simmerman of Tennessee; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, three husbands, one granddaughter, one great grandchild, two brothers and one sister. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Thursday, February 5th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Johnny Johnson officiating.
