Obituary of Lillian E. Uselton

Mitchell Lillian E. Uselton, 83, a resident of Mitchell Manor, formerly of 202 N Street, Bedford, died at 4:48 pm on Tuesday, May 18, 2004 at Mitchell Manor. Born April 30, 1921 in Elizabethtown, IN she was the daughter of David and Pearl (McCullum) Swartz. She married Leland (Lee) Uselton and he preceded her in death in 1996. Survivors include two brothers, Herbert Swartz of Houston, TX and Claude Swartz of Bedford; two step-daughters, Dorothy Herrling and her husband, Dave of Debary, FL and Patricia Tinch and her husband, Ken of Louisville, KY; two step-grandsons; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, Herman, David and Howard Swartz and two sisters, Goldie Blackwell and Lelah Eagan. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Friday, May 21st from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Gary Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Friday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
