Obituary of Mary R. Turpin

Bedford Mary R. (Mooneyham) Turpin, 79, of 1794 South Leatherwood Road, Bedford, died at 11:30 pm on Thursday, August 14, 2003 at Westview Manor Nursing and Rehab. Center in Bedford. Born December 11, 1923 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Sam and Wyrtis (Hudson) Edington. She was a homemaker and attended Fairview Community Church. Survivors include three sons, Luke and Curtis Mooneyham both of Bedford and Clint Mooneyham of Avon, IN; one daughter, Amy Swinghammer of Tomball, TX; one sister, Dot Ferguson of Bloomfield; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Merle and Max Edington; one sister, Colleen Wilson and one daughter, Diane Williamson. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Monday, August 18th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Lindy Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, August 17th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
