Obituary of Loretta Lynn Turner

Bedford Loretta Lynn Turner, 36, of 683 Carter Lane, Bedford, died at 10:07 pm on Monday, September 4, 2006 at Dunn Memorial Hospital from injuries she sustained in an ATV accident. Born June 14, 1970 in Franklin, IN, she was the daughter of Larry Jerome Stancombe and Connie (Crouch) Abrams. She married Terry Turner on July 12, 1997 and he survives. She was the director of the Crossroads Daycare Center in Bedford. She was a graduate of Bloomington North High School with the class of 1988 and a member of Crossroads Church. Surviving with her husband, Terry of Bedford is one son, Levi Terrell; two daughters, Taylor and Tyra Turner all at home; her mother and step-father, Connie and John Abrams of Unionville; four sisters, Tana Bundy, Lana Wray and her husband, Joe, Cindy Eads, Wendy England all of Bloomington; one brother, Larry Stancombe of Bloomington; one step-sister, Jennifer Porter of Spencer; one step-brother, Scott Abrams and his wife, Julie of Bloomington; nine nieces and six nephews; her mother and father-in-law, Sue and Ted Turner; a sister-in-law, Tressy Silvers and her husband, Cory. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Stancombe; her grandparents, Thomas Sr. and Pearl Crouch, one uncle, Donald Ray Crouch and one aunt, Elmira Crouch. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 7th at the Crossroads Church in Bedford with Rev. Ken Ransom officiating. Burial will follow in Chambersville Cemetery in Spencer. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, September 6th at the Day & Carter Mortuary and from 9:00 am until the hour of service on Thursday, at the church.
