Obituary of William C. Hunter

Bedford - William C. Bill Hunter, 77, of Bedford died at 10:26 P.M. on Tuesday, June 30th at the Stonebridge Health Campus. Born September 29, 1931 in Heltonville, IN, he was the son of Eithel Morris and Faye Marie (Pender) Hunter. He married Phyllis J. Sherlock on June 13, 1974 and she survives. He was a retired supervisor at RCA, a veteran of the U.S. Marines, a member of Hillcrest Christian Church and Heltonville Area Veterans. Surviving are his wife Phyllis of Bedford, one son, Phillip Hoffsetz and his wife Barbara of Noblesville, IN, two daughters, Jackie Adams and her husband Bruce of Springville, Rhonda Morris and her husband Greg of Bedford, eight grandchildren, Jason and Stacey Hoffsetz, Lisa Webb, Michael Braffet, Traci Dayhoff, Cindy Gorecki, Kyle and Kelsie Morris, six great grandchildren, Emma and Katie Hoffsetz, Sydney, Dylan and Brendan Webb and Jackson Dayhoff, one sister, Rosemary Hunter of Bedford. He was preceded in death by: his parents, first wife, Martha Jean Hunter, special granddad, Morton C. Hunter, one sister, Jaynella Hunter and one brother Robert J. Bob Hunter. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, July 3rd at Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Charlie Scott officiating. Friends may call on Thursday, July 2, 2009 from 4:00 pm 8:00 pm from the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary. At Bills request cremation was chosen.
