Obituary of Mary I. Turner

Bedford Mary I. Turner, 83, a life-long resident of Bedford, was welcomed into the presence of her Lord on April 30, 2005 at 8:27 am. Born March 13, 1922 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Fred and Ethel (Owens) Luallen. She married Harold W. Turner on August 25, 1945 and he preceded her in death on November 2, 2003. She was a homemaker and member of the Valley Mission Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include four children, Patty Turner and Terry Turner both of Bloomington, IN, Dr. Marsha Turner-Shear of Ellettsville, IN and Tracy Turner of Dallas, TX; ten grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; one sister, Martha Ritter of Bedford; one brother, George Luallen of Bedford and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, Chloe Covey and Mae Bartlett and one brother, Robert Luallen (in infancy). Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 2nd at the Valley Mission Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Duane Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, May 1st at the Day & Carter Mortuary and from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Tuesday at the Valley Mission Church of the Nazarene.
