Obituary of Della P. Troutman

Jeffersonville- Della P. Troutman, 83, a resident of Providence Retirement Home in New Albany, died at 5:30 am on Saturday, March 12, 2005, at the Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville. Born February 10, 1922 in Lawrence County Indiana, she was the daughter of Charlie and Sally (Bowden) Snow. She married Robert L. Troutman in November of 1944 and he died in 1955. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bedford where she served as a deaconess, a volunteer for the American Red Cross, and a fifty year member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include: one son, Dan Troutman and his wife Pam of Bedford; Two daughters, Bobetta Campbell and her husband Bill of Charlestown, IN; Patsy Holiday and her husband, Phillip of San Antonio, TX; seven grandchildren: Melissa Waterfill, Sean Campbell, Dana Sanders, Stephanie Coomer, Raegan Quan, Shane and Sally Troutman; fifteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, eleven brothers and sisters. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 16th, from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Charles Neuman officiating.
