Obituary of Norma Jane Atchison

Bedford Norma Jane Atchison, 72, of 3293 Back Creek Road, Heltonville, IN died at 10:17 am on Saturday, July 26, 2003 at Dunn Memorial Hospital. Born March 21, 1931 in Lawrence County, IN, she was the daughter of John W. and Florence Mae (Easton) Curren. She married George R. Atchison on June 24, 1950 and he preceded her in death on January 14, 1998. She retired from General Electric in Bloomington, IN and a member of Mundell Christian Church. Survivors include two sons: Donald Atchison of Heltonville and Mike Atchison of Bedford. Four grandchildren. Two brothers: Robert Curren of Florida and John S. Curren of Bedford. Three Sisters: Maxine Schershel of Mitchell, Colleen Smith & Frances Wilson of Bedford. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers: Everett & Thomas Curren. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am, Tuesday, July 29, 2003 from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. John Wisley officiating. Burial will follow at Cresthaven Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, July 28th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
