Obituary of Hollis Traywick

Hollis Traywick, 92, of Mitchell, formerly of Bedford, died at 12:00 am on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at Mitchell Manor Nursing Home. Born January 15, 1918 in Hot Springs, Arkansas, Hollis was the son of John and Emma Traywick. He was married to Shirley A. Gannon on January 10, 1948 and she preceded him in death on February 7, 2005. Hollis was a self employed carpenter and attended Living Water Church of God in Mitchell. Survivors include one daughter, Diana Prince and husband, Jimmie of Mitchell; two grandchildren, Aleta Taylor and husband, Gregg of Bedford and Beth Covey and husband Jason of Mitchell; three great grandchildren, Emily Taylor, Kaci Taylor and Caleb Covey. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and son Gary Traywick. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 9th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Rodney Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Mitchell Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, June 8th, at Day & Carter Mortuary.
