Obituary of Laverne Norman Todd

Heltonville Laverne (Norman) Todd, 94, of Heltonville, IN died at 11:30 pm on Thursday, June 10, 2004 at the Stonebridge Health Campus in Bedford. Born August 3, 1909 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Walter F. and Dessie (Sowder) Norman. She married Ralph N. Todd on June 30, 1928 and he preceded her in death on April 17, 1993. She was a homemaker and an active member of the Heltonville Christian Church. She was a wonderful loving and very giving mother and grandmother. Survivors include three daughters, Rosemary Manzenberger and her husband, Frank of Oolitic; Barbara Bundy and Ruth Ballantyne and her husband, Robert all of Bedford; three sons, Bill Todd and his wife, Rowena of Heltonville; John Todd and his wife, Sue of Ringwold, GA and Jerry Todd and his wife, Norma of Anderson; grandchildren, Greg Todd, Andrea Todd Cavins, Lynn D. Manzenberger, Shelley Manzenberger Fox, Donald E. Manzenberger, Bobbi Bundy Nardi, Becky Bundy, Jeffrey Bundy, Kathy Turpen Hamilton, Monica Turpen, Marty Turpen, Bridgett Turpen Kern, Monte Todd, Brent Todd, Cindy Todd Warner, Brian Todd, Sally Todd and Michael Todd; great grandchildren, Todd Cavins, Derek Cavins, John D. Manzenberger, Jeffrey D. Manzenberger, Jay D. Fox, Jeremy Fox, Natasha Fox Martin, Avery Manzenberger, Abbey Manzenberger, Alex Manzenberger, Joseph Nardi, Adam Nardi, David Nardi, Adam Hillenburg, Tessa Ross, Aaron Turpen, Ryan Neff, Brittney Turpen, Chasity Purdy, Carlee Kern, Nevin Turpen, Shannon Todd, Aaron Todd, Amelia Todd, Andrew Todd, Shauna Hawkins, Stephenie Warner, Nathan Warner and Erin Michelle Todd; great great grandchildren, Natalie, Wyatt and Maverick Martin, Trace and Lane Hawkins, Mason Ross, J. Dustin Fox, Zack Stevens, Jachin Fox and Klay Cleek ; one brother, Ermil Norman and his wife, Lola of Bedford. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Donald Todd; one grandson, Joey Todd; two brothers, Clifford and Ervin Norman; two sisters, Ruby Waggoner and Lenore Todd. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 14th at the Hillcrest Christian Church with Bro. Charles Delaney officiating. Burial will follow in Gilgal Cemetery in Heltonville. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, June 13th at the Day & Carter Mortuary and from 1:00 pm until the hour of service on Monday, June 14th at the Hillcrest Christian Church.
