I had the great honor of working as a summer hire at Crane will Bill in 1981. He took me under his wing and treated me like I was one of his own family. My father had the privilege of meeting Bill while visiting Crane to do some work. Bill left a lasting impression on my father Harold and he still fondly talks about the day he spent touring the base with Bill. My heart goes out to Duane and the rest of Bill's family. I know he will be greatly missed but he is singing in God's choir now.
