Obituary of Faye William Terrell

Bedford Faye William Terrell, 81, of 6956 State Road 158, Bedford, died at 1:37 am on Friday, February 15, 2008 at his residence. Born May 3, 1926 in Martin Co., he was the son of George and Florence (Chastain) Terrell. He married Audrey Wagner on November 2, 1950 and she survives. He retired after thirty-five years as an automotive mechanic of NWSC CRANE. He was a veteran of WW II serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Bedford Masonic Lodge #14 F & AM for over fifty years. He was also a member of the Fayetteville Baptist Church, the Gillen Post #33 American Legion, Murat Shrine, York Rite Valley of Indianapolis and the Indian Creek Volunteer Fire Dept. Surviving with his wife, Audrey, of Bedford are three nephews, Larry Wayne Terrell and his wife, Loretta of Bedford, Jerry W. Wagner and his wife, Shirley of Mitchell and Robert G. Wagner of Bedford; two great nephews, Luke Daniel and Larry Dale Terrell both of Bedford and several other great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Cletus Dale and Curtis Hale Terrell; one sister, Ruth (Terrell) Johnson and one niece, Doris Gilstrap. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Monday, February 18th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Kenny Walden officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, February 17th and from 9:00 am until the hour of service on Monday, February 18th at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Military rites will be accorded at the graveside by members of Gillen Post #33 American Legion. Pallbearers are Stan Wright, Monty Wright, L.D. Martin, Mike Crane, Micah Keith, Adam Clines, Cody Baker and Levi Keith. Honorary pallbearers are Larry Dale and Luke Daniel Terrell. Donations Information The family asks that friends consider memorial contributions be made to the Indian Creek Volunteer Fire Dept. or the Fayetteville Baptist Church.
