When in grade school, Norman and I go together every few months and traded Marvel comic books. Then we would argue about who would win the fight-the Hulk (my favorite) or the Thing (his favorite). I'll always carry him with me.

Norm was my Home/School Advisor at Parkview Primary for a few years. He was so good with the children and the families. He had a way of talking with kids or parents about problems without making anyone feel bad about themselves. Everyone knew he was only trying to help them. He was such a fine man. I know he will be missed by so many people.

Good friends like Norm leave a lasting impression on us that continues to impact us for years to come. What if he had never been born? My personal relationship with the Lord was impacted by him during the Jesus Movement. I can't think of those days and not think of him. When I see his life continued to touch others by his humor and passion, that he left a legacy not only for his community, family, and friends but for students as well, I think what more can you ask for?

I will always remember Norm's smile and generous nature. Norm was the original advocate. If someone needed him he was there. I know he is looking down on all of us and smiling.

Norm is watching down on all of us. He knows he impacted our lives. We r better people because of him. He told me never to give up and i can do anything i want in life. Because of this I married and amazing guy Matthew and we hav a beautiful daughter Trinity, and i have a great job. I thanks him for this. He had an impact on my life.

Norm and I became friends during the Jesus movement in the 70's. He helped me grow in the Lord then and helped my children throughout school. I saq him the morning of his going home. I was leaving Magic Morning as he was going in. I would usually stop and chat but thought I needed to get moving. I didn't take the time to talk and now of course wish I had. My family and I will always remember Norm. God had a better plan for him. It's not goodbye friend it's I'll see you later. God bless you Annette, Juanita and all the family.
