Obituary of Juanita E. Taylor

Bedford Juanita E. Taylor, 82, of Bedford, died at 7:11 pm on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at her residence. Born April 14, 1932 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Myron and Grace (Bex) Doane. She married Austin O. Taylor on March 16, 1951 and he died August 9, 1992. She later married Gordon Henderson on February 14, 1997 and he survives. She had worked for the Bedford License Branch and retired from Pleasers Restaurant and was a graduate of the Huron High School with the class of 1950. She was a member of the Port Williams Church of Christ and attended Dive Christian Church. Survivors include her husband, Gordon Henderson of Bedford, a daughter, Austina Marshall and husband, Bill of Bedford; a daughter-in-law, Annette Taylor of Bedford; two granddaughters, Tara Marshall of Edwardsport and Katresha Taylor of Fishers, IN; a great grandson, Brayden Embree of Indianapolis; a brother, Jonnie Doane and wife, Peggy of Bedford; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, a son, Norm Taylor; a brother, Noble W. Doane; a sister-in-law, Mary Jane Doane, a sister, Jeanette Bates and brother-in-law, Russell Bates. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 23rd in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Johnny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Clover Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Monday, June 23rd at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
