Obituary of Rowena Tarr
Bedford-Rowena Sue Tarr, 74, of Sunny Acres Drive passed away at 5:15 P.M. Saturday, March 8th at the Meadowview Health and Rehabilitation Center in Salem, IN.
Born June 20, 1933 in Oolitic, IN, she was the daughter of Frederick G. and Ruby E. (Woodward) Pritchett. She married Robert E. Bob Tarr on March 9, 1954. She was a graduate of Oolitic High School. She worked at Citizens National Bank for several years and then went to the State Employment Office where she became the first female claims deputy.
Survivors include her husband, Bob of Bedford, one son, Robert G. of Bedford, two granddaughters, Therese and Angela; two grandsons, Robert L. and Frederick all of Bedford; one sister, Sherry Edgar of Bedford and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Jane Henderson and Claudia Beebe; one brother Frederick Bud Pritchett. Funeral Information
Services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, March 12th from the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with Johnny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Clover Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 am until the hour of the service on Wednesday.
