Obituary of Judith Annette Sullivan

Bloomington Judith Judy Annette Sullivan, of 1935 E. Cherry Lane, Bloomington, passed away at 9:00 pm on Sunday, November 21, 2010 at her residence. Born December 22, 1940 in Springville, she was the daughter of Jasper and Thelma (Mikels) Meadows. She married Freddie Sullivan on November 19, 1955 and he preceded her in death on May 10, 2009. She was a homemaker and a member of the Springville Trinity Pentecostal Church. Survivors include two daughters, Teresa Sullivan and Sandy Hill both of Bloomington; one son, Rick Sullivan of Gosport; seven grandchildren, K.J. Sullivan, Stefanie Sullivan, Tasha Hooks and husband, Joey, Ryan Edwards, Tyler Shaw, Brittany Shaw, Michael J. Sullivan; seven great grandchildren; two brothers, Jerry Meadows and Bud Meadows both of Bedford; her step-father, Claude Mikels of Bedford; two sisters-in-law, Judy Clowers of Bloomington and Dorothy Teeters of Cincinatti; three brothers-in-law, Joe Sullivan of Bloomington, Harold Sullivan of Washington state and Gilbert Sullivan of S. Carolina. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, husband, one sister, Virginia Arthur and a brother, Eugene Meadows. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 24th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Bro. Wendell Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the Byers-Rainbolt Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 23rd and from 11 :00 am until the hour of service on Wednesday, November 24th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
