Obituary of Vivian A. Bailey

Bedford Vivian A. Bailey, 74, of Bedford, died at 10:35 am on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at White River Lodge in Bedford. Born September 15, 1936 in Bedford, she was the daughter of John and Hattie (Nicholson) Bailey. She had worked as a clerk for Buck Lemon Furniture and was a member of the Free Methodist Church. Survivors include two sisters, Margaret Noel of Bedford and Lucille Taylor of Indianapolis; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Marvin, John, William and Robert Bailey and one sister, Louise Deckard. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 2nd in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Ronnie McLain officiating. Burial will follow in the New Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Friday, September 2nd at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
