Obituary of Mary Alice Stultz
Bedford Mary Alice Stultz, 80, of 628 U Street, Bedford, died at 12:43 pm on Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at the Bloomington Hospital following a brief illness.
Born December 11, 1943 in Bedford, she was the daughter of George Andrew and Autie (Trueblood) Mowery. She married Charles Edward Stultz on July 21, 1946 and he died March 21, 1984. She worked at Central Foundry during the war and later worked for Dr. Robert Smallwood, Dr. Gerald Kasting, Dr. Carolyn Smith and Dr. Eric Schultz. She was an Avon representative since 1981. She was a graduate of Oolitic High School with the class of 1943 and a member of the Southland Church of Christ in Bedford.
Survivors include one daughter, Nancy Alice Stultz of Bedford; one son, Charles E. Stultz of Vinton, VA; two grandchildren, Amy Jo Sheehan of Cape Coral, FL and Susan Michelle Snyder of Dickinson, TX; three great grandchildren, Sean Sheehan, Michael Sheehan and Harley Snyder; one brother, Robert Mowery of Bedford; one aunt, Ellen Haseman of Linton, IN and four nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers, Harold Mowery and Howard Mowery (in infancy). Funeral Information
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 19th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Bro. Bud Smith, Bro. Jim Kinser, Bro. Pat Arthur and Bro. Bob Fenton officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, March 18th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
