Obituary of Virn A. Stultz

Bedford Virn A. Stultz, 87, of 804 Mt. Pleasant Road, Bedford, died at 10:45 am on Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at his residence. Born March 3, 1917 in Lawrence County, he was the son of Gusta and Anna (Deckard) Stultz. He married Betty Stultz on August 5, 1940 and she died on March 8, 1999. He was a farmer and a member of the Mt. Pleasant Christian Church. Survivors include one son, Steve Stultz and his wife, Carol; two daughters, Sharon Stevens and her husband, Jim and Melinda Brooking and her husband, Phil all of Bedford; seven grandchildren, Greg Stevens, Phillip Brooking, Polly Lintz, Jenny Hunter, Michael Stultz, Courtney Sullivan and Patrick Stultz; eight great grandchildren, Hannah Stevens, Dylan Stevens, Jessica Downham, Peyton Brooking, B.J. Lintz, Corrie Lintz, Matthew Hunter and Emma Sullivan; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one brother, Bill Stultz; two sisters, Gertrude Hawkins and Florence Rodler and one grandson, Matthew Stevens. Funeral Information Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, June 11th at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with Rev. Gary Baker officiating. Friends may call from 9:00 am until 10:45 am on Friday at the Mt. Pleasant Christian Church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Day & Carter Mortuary.
