Obituary of Clovis Edward Strunk

New Whiteland Clovis Edward Strunk, 70, of 331 Granada Place, New Whiteland, IN, formerly of Springville, died at 6:40 pm on Monday, March 1, 2004 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Born March 19, 1933 in Springville, IN he was the son of Clarence Bud and Alta Mae (Jones) Strunk. He married Teresa Tere Wright on November 18, 2002 and she survives. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force and worked three years at Atterbury Job Corps and was an avid antiques dealer. He attended Springville Trinity Pentecostal Church. Surviving with his wife, Teresa, are five daughters, Teresa Hardwick of Franklin, Marcia Maulden of Burlington, WA, Robin English of Moss Beach, CA, Lisa Johnson of Boron, CA and Michelle Smith of Oceano, CA; one son, Gary Strunk of Oceano, CA; seventeen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; six sisters, Lydia Spoonmoore of Springville, Sandy Colliflower of Naples, FL, Mary Reuter of Springville, Loretta Abel of Bedford, Wanda Kirkman of Oolitic, Pam Caudill of Greenfield; two brothers, Roy Strunk of Lehigh Acres, FL and Tom Strunk of Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, March 5th at the Springville Trinity Pentecostal Church with Bro. Wendell Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Springville Christian Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 4th at the Day & Carter Mortuary and from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Friday, March 5th at the Springville Trinity Pentecostal Church. Military rites will be accorded at the graveside by members of Gillen Post #33 American Legion
