Obituary of Thelma M. Hubbard

Ft. Wayne, IN - Thelma M. Hubbard, 97, of Ft. Wayne, IN, formerly of Bedford, IN, died at 12:06 am on Friday, November 3, 2006 at Millers Merry Manor in Ft. Wayne, IN. Born November 9, 1908 in Oolitic, she was the daughter of Patrick A. and Mable (Hennon) Matthews. She married Elbert O. Hubbard in 1945 and he preceded her in death on August 23, 2003. She was a former proof-reader for the Times-Mail Newspaper and had been employed at NWSC CRANE. Survivors include one son, Larry E. Hubbard of Valparaiso, FL; one daughter, Patricia Gallops of Ft. Wayne; one step-son, David Hubbard of Bedford; one step-daughter, Peggy Hubbard of Bedford; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; one brother, Wayne Matthews and one aunt, Violet Lambert. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00pm on Tuesday, November 7th, 2006 from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Tim Ahlmeyer officiating.
