Obituary of Karen Ann Strunk

Indianapolis Karen Ann Strunk, 67, of Indianapolis, went home to be with the Lord at 7:05 pm on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. Born August 25, 1941 in Bloomington, IN, she was the daughter of George Edwards and Mary Alice (Edwards) Burch. She married Tom Strunk on October 26, 1959 and he survives. She was a sales associate with Walmart in Greenwood for eight years. She was a devout woman of God who loved the Lord with all her heart, and anxiously awaited the Lords return. Surviving with her husband Tom, are two sons, Tom Strunk, Jr. of Indianapolis and Larry Strunk of Chattanooga, TN; two daughters, Jackie Barry of Chattanooga, TN and Dawn Morris of Greenwood, IN; four brothers, Donnie Edwards and Jim Edwards both of Bloomington, IN, Danny Edwards and Mike Burch both of Solsberry, IN; eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, George Edwards; one brother, David Edwards and one sister, Diane Ray Robinson. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 2nd from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor David Stephenson officiating. Burial will follow in the Springville Christian Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, May 1st and from 1:00 pm until the hour of service on Saturday, May 2nd at the Day & Carter Mortuary. View Video Tribute
