Obituary of Eva D. Strunk

Bedford Eva D. Strunk, 69, of 5 Strunk Lane, Bedford, died at 2:15 am on Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at her residence. Born October 28, 1937 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Lloyd and Allie (Godsey) Hughes. She married Donald E. Strunk on July 21, 1956 and he preceded her in death on December 17, 1986. She worked for ARA and retired as the manager of the cafeteria at Central Foundry GM in Bedford. Survivors include one daughter, Regina Embree and her husband, Pat II of Springville; three sons, Jack Strunk and his girlfriend, Krista George, Jim Strunk and his wife, Luann and Chuck Strunk all of Bedford; seven grandchildren, Sarah Strunk and her boyfriend, Stan Wright, Jr., Brandi Strunk and her fiance, Dustin Deckard, Ashley Strunk, Patrick Embree III, Amanda Strunk, Aaron Embree and Nathan Embree; one great grandson, Clayton Deckard; two sisters, Elizabeth Turner of Bedford and Gladys Leach of Texas; one brother, Bob Hughes of Texas; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one granddaughter, Cortney Strunk and eight brothers and sisters. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, January 5th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Benny Sutherland officiating.
