Obituary of Inez G. Stroud

Shoals Inez G. (Louden) Stroud, 97, of Shoals, died at 9:10 am on Friday, April 5, 2013 at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital in Bedford. Born October 10, 1915, she was the daughter of Coy and Mary Esta (Fish) Louden. She married Walter Stroud on March 29, 1930 and he preceded her in death on December 25, 2007. Survivors include three sons, Russell Stroud and wife, Nancy of Shoals, Rex Stroud and wife, Janet of Bedford, William Stroud and wife, Linda of Whiteland; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren; fifteen great great grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Shirley Sroud of Bedford. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Walter; a son, Dean Stroud and a daughter Doris Zumhingst; one grandson; one great grandson and two great great granddaughters. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 9th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Randall Corbin officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, April 8th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
