Obituary of Nancy Dee Stout

Bedford Nancy Dee Stout, 90, of Bedford, died at 9:00 am on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born November 29, 1919 in Pulaski Co., KY, she was the daughter of Fount and Mary Emma (Hardwick) Strunk. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was a member of the Merry Widow Group and enjoyed spending time with her family. Nancy is survived by her children, Janna Phillips of Springville, Elaine Allen and husband, Harold, of Heltonville, Ron Slaton and wife, Linda of Scottsburg, Fred Stout and wife, Julie, of Bedford, Sherrie Dawn Johnson and husband, Danny of Springville; numerous grandchildren, whom she loved very much; two sisters, Anna Conner of Springville and Winnie Kirkman of Mooresville. She was preceded in death by her parents, three children, Chester Cobb, Henrietta Cochran and Sylvia Elkins; four brothers, Clarence, Luther, Orville and Leonard Strunk; sisters, Clara Thompson, Betty Baugh and Bessie Marie Strunk. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, January 8th at the First Baptist Church in Bedford with Rev. Dr. Kregg Burris officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, January 7th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
