Obituary of Helen M. Beretta

Bedford Helen M. Beretta, 90, of Bedford, died at 12:15 am on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Bedford. Born September 25, 1917 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Eliab and Ellen (Summerville) Pattison. She married Fred Beretta in October 1948 and he preceded her in death in November 1962. She had been employed with the Bedford School System and NWSC CRANE. She was a member of St. Johns Episcopal Church and Gillen Post #33 American Legion. She was a veteran of WW II serving with the U.S. Marine Corps. Survivors include two daughters, Susan Clark of Bedford and Diane Conley and her husband, Mark of Fairland, IN; three grandchildren, Scott Clark of Bedford, Mary Clark of Indianapolis and Jordan Conley of Fairland, IN; one brother, Harry Pattison of Noblesville, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, William and John David Pattison; three sisters, Ethel Harris, Emma Gennett and Edith Baker. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Friday, April 18th at St. Johns Episcopal Church with Father Charlie Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. Military rites will be accorded at the graveside by members of Gillen Post #33 American Legion. No calling hours are scheduled.
