Obituary of William C. Allen

Bedford William C. Allen, 91, of Bedford, died at 5:40 pm on Wednesday, June 6, 2006 at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born December 26, 1915 in Oolitic, IN, he was the son of James and Clara (Muller) Allen. He married Elizabeth E. Phelps on January 15, 1937 and she survives. He was a machinist with Indiana Steel Co. retiring in 1981. Surviving with his wife, Elizabeth are two sons, William P. Allen of Washington, DC and John L. Allen of Bedford; one daughter, Monia Rosselle of Bedford; one grandson, Brett Rosselle; one granddaughter, Melissa Allen Rayhill; one great granddaughter, Marissa Wray. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one half-sister. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 9th from the the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Brent ONeal officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, June 8th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
