Obituary of Frank E. Stigall
Bedford Frank E Stigall, 73, Bedford, died at 2:45 pm on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at the Veterans Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born March 24, 1933 in Lawrence County, he was the son of Elmer and Gertrude Winifred Winnie (Strunk) Stigall. He married Jacqueline Bruner on June 23, 1989 and she survives. He retired from the limestone industry after over fifty years and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Oolitic Baptist Church, V.F.W. and the Leesville Cedar Lodge #161 F & AM.
Surviving with his wife, Jacqueline of Bedford are two daughters, Eugenia (Gina) Gooch and Tina Reagan and her husband, Charles all of Leander, TX; one son, Anthony (Tony) Stigall of Bedford; one step-daughter, Michelle Taylor of Bloomington; one step-son, Jason Carlile of Greene Co.; grandchildren, Jennifer Gaffron and her husband, Zeke of Colorado, Bobby Jones of Houston, TX, Courtney Jones, Joshua Reagan and his wife, Karli of Cedar Park, TX, Jessica Reagan, Alex Reagan and Crystal Stigall all of Leander, TX; step-grandchildren, Cherrice Taylor, Patrick Taylor and Tracy Taylor II, all of Greene Co., Cora Taylor of Bloomington, Noah and Sidney Carlile both of Bedford; five great grandchildren; one brother, Dick Stigall and his wife, Donna Faye of Bedford; two sisters, Christine Ritchey and Barbara McFadden and her husband, Lloyd all of Bedford; several nieces, nephews and cousins; the mother of his children, Wilma Magnus of Crane, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, Opal, Ted, Ollie, Tom and Hayden. Funeral Information
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 24th at the Oolitic Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Tallman officiating. Burial will follow in the Patton Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, March 23rd at the Day & Carter Mortuary and from 12:00 noon until the hour of service on Saturday at the Oolitic Baptist Church. Masonic services will be conducted at 7:00 pm on Friday by members of the Leesville Cedar Lodge #161. Military rites will be accorded at the graveside by members of Gillen Post #33 American Legion.
