Obituary of Andrew Ralph Stepp

Bedford - Andrew Ralph Stepp, 89, of Bedford, died at 6:20 pm on Monday, July 19, 2010 at Core Nursing and Rehab. Center in Bedford. Born August 18, 1920 at Black Mountain, NC, he was the son of Ernest and Selma Stepp. After his family moved from North Carolina to Indiana, Andrew attended school in Bedford. Soon after school, Andrew left Bedford to travel with Ringling Brothers, Barnum and Bailey Circus performances. Years later, he returned to Bedford and worked for Roots Plumbing and Klein Lumber Co. Survivors include sisters, Elsa Wheeler of Bloomington, Jo Stepp-Shelton of Indianapolis, Mildred Ebron of Lansing, MI, Bertha Miller of Detroit, MI; brothers, Oliver Stepp and Lester Stepp of Indianapolis and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Ernest Howard and Hardy Stepp; four sisters, Cora Leeper, Helen Cates-Brown, Sadie Hicks and Marcele Hogue-Harris Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 23rd at the Second Baptist Church in Bedford with Bro. Donald Griffin officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the hour of service on Friday, July 23rd at the Second Baptist Church.
