Obituary of Peggy J. Staley

Bedford-Peggy J. Staley, 78, of Bedford, passed away at 12:00 P.M. Friday, May 31st at her residence. She was the daughter of Paul Smith and Dorothy (Rosenberger) Smith born in Bedford, IN on December 27, 1934. She married Robert Staley on October 1, 1960 and he passed away in 1980. Surviving are three daughters: Sheila Kellams and her companion, Patrick Ritchison of Bedford, Deborah Arnold and her husband, Roy of Bloomington and Lisa Brown and her husband, Michael of Orleans; three grandchildren: Andrea Clay and her husband, Rick of Cedar Rapids, IA, Justin Kellams and his wife, Bobbie of Bedford and Kayla Kellams of Bedford; 11 great grandchildren and one brother: Paul James Smith of TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother: Edward Smith. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 4th in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Marty Speer officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Day & Carter Mortuary on Tuesday, June 4th from 10:00 A.M. until the hour service.
