Obituary of Gary Dean Staggs

Bedford Gary Dean Staggs, 60, of Bedford, died at 5:10 pm on Monday, December 16, 2013 from injuries sustained in an auto accident in Owen County. Born March 2, 1953 in Bedford, IN, he was the son of Vollie and Elizabeth Fern Betty (Scott) Staggs. He was a quality controller at GE, union shop steward and former union vice president. Survivors include two sons, Gary Andrew Staggs of Oolitic and Adam Staggs of Bedford; a daughter, Chastity Michelle Minchala-Condo of Colorado; two grandchildren, Brodey and Amealeah. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Rita Trueblood. Funeral Information Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 26th at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Cremation will follow.
