Obituary of Esther Staggs

Martinsville Esther Staggs, 81, of 46 Outer Drive, Martinsville, formerly of Mitchell, died at 7:20 am on Wednesday, November 5, 2003 in Martinsville. Born February 18, 1922 in Oolitic, she was the daughter of John B. and Ella Rose (Wiliams) Jones. She retired from RCA in Bloomington and was a member of the Senior Citizens of Mitchell. Survivors include two daughters, Loretta Bloombaugh of Ohio and Nadra Sanders of Bloomington; three sons, Robert D. Staggs of Bedford, John H. Staggs of Martinsville and Steven A. Staggs of Indianapolis; two sisters, Mary Sigler and Nina Staggs; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Brenda Brock. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 8th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Bro. Pat Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Lawrenceport Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 noon to 8:00 pm on Friday, November 7th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
