Obituary of Lois Carrie Spray

BedfordLois Carrie (McPike) Spray died at 3:50 P.M. on Friday, February 7, 2003 at the Hospitality House in Bedford. Born on December 12, 1906 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Charles R. McPike and Martha (Brinegar) McPike. She married Walter Spray and he preceded her in death January 1966. Survivors are two step-granddaughters and husbands: Rick and Debbie (Hughes) Deckard and Frank and Penny (Hughes) Bundy all of Bedford,; five great grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one step-daughter: Elta Mae (Spray) Hughes; two sisters: Mary Adamson and Ilene Judah; two brothers: Leonard and John McPike She was a homemaker, attended Guthrie Christian Church; past member of the Citizen Club and Daughters of the American Revolution. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 11th in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with Johnny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Judah Church of Christ Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday, February 10th from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Day & Carter.
