Christie & Mike--Don't know if you'll even see this--but I wanted you to know you both still keep popping up in my thoughts as time goes by. I really hope light and laughter have started coming back, even just a little bit, into your lives since Dasan's passing. Can only imagine what you feel. From the number of 'lit candles' and messages from your caring family & friends here and the articles in the paper about Dasan, his fiance & his friend, and if this volume could effect some healing, I hope and pray it works on you both. I still have your wedding pictures in one of my albums along with one of Kevin (3 yrs old) and Mike together. I remember how good you two were with Kevin and my Mom also back then. Maybe someday we'll have an opportunity to get together again--I know Kevin would like that. Take care and peace be with you and your family. believe

Christie, Mike, Ty & Cam and all the rest of your family. My heart still hurts with pain from you all losing Dasan. Ty, I was once in your shoes when I was strucken with the sadness, guilt, grief, anger, etc. of losing one of my younger sisters, Cristen. Its hard.its not right. Its so hard to comprehend and understand it all. Time will heal but you all will never forget the kind hearted, loving, funny, caring person Dasan was. I actually just tonight.right before I came up here, found my old phone that had an answering machine on it. I was soooooo happy when i was able to retrieve those old messages. I had one from my sis, Cristen, as her, PeeWee, Dasan & Miranda was coming back from Florida.she had called leaving me a message that said she had had a dream saying that it was gonna be a healthy, gorgeous baby boy. I was expecting my 1st at that time. She told me how much she loved me & thanks for everything i had done for her. It was so awesome to hear that. I also cried as well, knowing that physically she is gone, just like Dasan, they are both in Heaven talking about those good old times. Im here for u all.as u all already know. As a parent myself, I cannot imagine the pain a mom or dad would feel losing a child. Parents arent supposed to bury their kids.just doesnt make sense. Will keep u all in my thoughts and prayers. Christie and family, Dason was dear to me as a 4th grader. I can still see his smile and remember his morning greeting, "Hey, Ms Turner!" He tried to teach me to throw a football and would help anyone who needed him. He knew in 4th grade that having a strong character becomes even stronger with a caring heart. Our prayers are with you.

Spires Family, So sorry for your loss. Dasan was a very nice and respectful guy. We were lucky to have worked with him when we worked at BTI in Heltonville when he first started driving his Dump Truck. He and I (Juli) worked together on several jobs and he was a such a joy to talk to and to work with. He always had a smile when he came in. He was a special person. He will be missed very much. Dasan, I will always remember your big hearty laugh. I can still hear that thick southern drawl. you were a great friend was always there to help me whenever i needed some advice for a shot of truth. I will always remember that time when we got back from Det in Nevada and brought home that crazy looking spitton. you actually hit the spitton from the couch. One word gifted. only a dude from Indiana could pull that off. Fair winds and following seas my brother. May you and your fiance rest. Go with God.

I am so sorry for your loss. Dasan was a great kid who became a wonderful young man. I ran into him not long ago and he introduced me to Laura. Mike, Christie, Ty, Cam, Donna & the rest of the family. I am so sorry for your family's lost of a loved one. I know it will be very hard days to come.
