Obituary of Noble Spinks

Bedford Noble Dale Spinks, 71, of 3241 Dixie Hwy., Bedford, died at 2:22 pm on Monday, August 25, 2003 at his residence. Born December 23, 1931 in Springville, he was the son of Elmer and Amanda (Price) Spinks. He married Charlotte Hall on March 20, 2002 and she survives. He retired from NWSC Crane and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Englewood Baptist Church. Surviving with his wife, Charlotte are his children, Robert D. Spinks and his wife, Susan, of Bedford; Kevin R. Spinks of Springville; Timothy J. Spinks and his wife, Chris, of Williams; Linda L. Thorp of Springville; Brandon W. Spinks and his wife, Christy, of Bedford and Neal A. Spinks and his wife, Courtney, of Williams; one step-son, Robert A. Wayand his wife, Sylvia of Mitchell; two step-daughters, Vicki R. McPike and her husband, Harold of Springville and F. Michelle Chastain of Bedford, all of whom he loved as his own; his care-giver and special friend, Thelma Silvers; eleven grandchildren; nine step grandchildren; one great grandchild; three step great grandchildren; three sisters, Maude, Goldie, Alice and one brother, Leo. He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 28th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Herman Noll officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, August 27th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
