Obituary of Helen Pauline Bell

Mitchell- Helen Pauline Bell 86, of 1498 State Road 37, Mitchell, died at 5:25 pm on Friday December 30, 2005 at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born November 12, 1919 in Greene County, Indiana she was the daughter of Chris Dowden and Erma M. (White) Spoonmore. She married Omer Eugene Bell on May 23, 1946 and he preceded her in death on November 9, 1982. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Joan Phipps of Bedford, and Mrs. Pauline M. Sanders of Pensacola, Florida; three sons, Larry Phillips of Springville, Willard E. Bell of Mitchell, and Ralph Wayne Bell of Bedford; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and six step-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two grandchildren, Eric, and John. She was a member of the Central Church of Christ in Bedford. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2006 from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Bro. Doyle Wayne Phipps, and Bro. Darrell Simon officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday, January 2nd, 2006 and also from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Tuesday. View Video Tribute
